Day 1: Drive to Aswan – Edfu and Kom Ombo – Philae Temple
You will meet Wonderful Egypt Tours Representative at the lobby of your hotel in Luxor then transfer to Aswan by a private air-conditioned car.In the way, stop at Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world. The temple is located on a high hill overlooking the River Nile. You will go with your guide to Edfu, where you will take a horse carriage ride to Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus which is considered the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak and one of the well-preserved cult temple in Egypt.
Continue driving to Aswan to enjoy your tour at Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Take a short motorboat ride to the temple, where you will listen to the grand myth of Isis and Osiris. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Abu Simbel Temples – Felucca Ride Around Kitchner’s Island
Aswan hotel check-out after breakfast. Wonderful Egypt Tours guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel. Then transfer by a private air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel. It takes about 2 hours to reach Abu Simbel. All cars assembly and move in a convoy at 05:00 AM to secure the way to Abu Simbel. In the way, your Egyptologist tour guide will give you a small historical background about Abu Simbel Temples and King Ramses II.
Your tour starts by visiting the most important temple in Egypt with your private Egyptologist tour guide. The two temples were submerged by the water of Lake Nasser, after the construction of Aswan High Dam. The UNESCO started the project of transfer the temples by cutting the temple into blocks and moved it piece-by-piece to a higher hill with the same position to preserve the solar alignment phenomena of the Temple every February 22nd and October 22nd. Free time to take memorable photos there. Transfer to Aswan.
Continue your tour by cruising the Nile by felucca to enjoy a fantastic sailing experience as you sail around Elephantine Island. Felucca ride is an amazing way to discover the beauty of the Aswan. Sail by felucca to Kitchener’s Island to visit Aswan Botanical Garden. The Island was given to Lord Kitchener during Sudan campaigns. It was the residence house of Lord Kitchener until he left the Island. Lord Kitchener brought to the gardens the rare and unique plants from all over the world. After the visit, back to Luxor.
