DAY 1 - CRUISE EMBARKATION - NILE RIVER TOUR - TOUR TO LUXOR AND KARNAK TEMPLES

Once you arrived at Luxor Airport, you will meet our assistant then transfer to your Nile cruise ship for check in. Take your lunch on board then meet your guide to start your tour at old capital of Egypt, Thebes. Cross the Nile with your Egyptologist tour guide to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples with your Egyptologist tour guide.

 

Karnak Temple is the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco-Roman Kingdom. You will see at Karnak Temple the Sphinx Avenue, the famous Hypostyle Hall, Queen Hatshepsut’s Obelisk and Temple of Amon.

 

Luxor Temple was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. You will see the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the first Pylon. Free time to take memorable photos then transfer to your cruise to enjoy the amazing sunset view on board. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 - VALLEY OF THE KINGS, HATSHEPSUT'S TEMPLE AND MEMNON COLOSSI

Take your breakfast on board then move by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit the tombs of the most famous pharaohs in Egypt (3 tombs included per ticket). King Tut’s tomb with extra supplement. Continue the tour by visiting the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Your knowledgeable guide will tell you the most famous stories about this temple and Queen Hatshepsut. In your way, you will stop to take some memorable photos for the Colossi of Memnon (King Amenhotep III Status). Back to your Nile cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 - EDFU & KOM OMBO TEMPLES

Sail to Edfu in the early morning. After breakfast, you will take a horse carriage ride with your guide to Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus which is considered the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak and one of the well-preserved cult temple in Egypt. At each site, your Egyptologist tour guide will give you historical information about the temple. Back to your cruise ship for lunch and relax on board while sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world. The temple is located on a high hill overlooking the River Nile. Back with your guide to the cruise to enjoy your Dinner and continue sailing to Edfu. Back to your Nile cruise ship for dinner and overnight. Continue sailing to Aswan.

DAY 4 - ASWAN SIGHTSEEING

Take your breakfast on board before starting your day tour at the High Dam of Aswan, the engineering miracle in the new centuries. Your guide will take you to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan, where you will learn how the obelisks were carved in the ancient world. This obelisk abandoned due to a crack. No completed visit to Aswan without a tour to the temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Take a short motorboat ride to the temple, where you will listen to the grand myth of Isis and Osiris. Back to your cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 - LAKE CRUISE - KALABSHA TEMPEL, BEIT EL WALI, & KIOSEK OF QERTASSI

Take your breakfast on board before check out (Maximum by 12:00 P.M.). Your assistant will wait for you at the lobby of your cruise ship. You will be transferred by a deluxe A/C Vehicle to the docking area of the Lake Cruise. Check in your cruise ship and take lunch on board. Start the tour with your Egyptologist guide by visiting Kalabsha Temple, lies on the eastern bank of the Nile and was built by the Roman Emperor, Octavius Augustus in 30 BC and dedicated to the Nubian god Mandolis. The temple was moved from its original site 55 km south of Aswan, on the West Bank and rebuilt near the High Dam. It is one of the largest sandstone temples in Nubia. Its walls are covered with texts and inscriptions.

 

Continue to see Beit El Wali, south of Aswan High Dam and very close to Kalabsha Temple, It represents another of Ramses II’s Nubian monuments dedicated principally to Amun, together with other gods, that was carved from the sandstone hillside and is probably unique as the smallest of its gender. Head to visit Kiosek of Qertassi, with its two Hathor headed columns, stands near the water commanding fine views of Lake Nasser. After the tour, back to your cruise to enjoy your afternoon tea. Dinner and overnight aboard the Lake Cruise.

DAY 6 - SAILING TO WADI EL SEBOUA

Enjoy your day on the Lake Cruise sailing through the Lake Nasser to reach Wadi El Seboua. Take your Breakfast in the morning. Relax on board and enjoy the party on the Cruise. Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight.

DAY 7 - WADI EL SEBOUA, AMADA TEMPLE, TEMPLE OF DERR & TOMB OF PENOUT

Breakfast on board then head with your guide to visit Wadi El Sebou Temples on the west bank of the Nile, two temples were built by King Ramses II during the New Kingdom 18th and 19th Dynasties by King Ramses II. Known as the House of Amun. Back to the Cruise ship to continue sailing to Amada and take the lunch. Visit Amada Temple in Nubia, though small, nevertheless contains some important historical inscriptions and is also significant as the oldest of the Lake Nasser Temples. Then head to see the Temple of Derr, the only Nubian temple with a façade that faces to the north-south to parallel the course of the Nile. Explore The Tomb of Penout before getting back to the Cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

DAY 8 - KASR IBRIM & ABU SIMBEL TEMPLES

Breakfast and Sailing to Kasr Ibrim to see the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim from the cruise ship sundeck as it’s not permitted to enter the site. Your guide will tell you the historical information about the site. Continue sailing to Abu Simbel and lunch onboard. Visit The Temple of Abu Simbel, The two temples of Abu Simbel among the most magnificent monuments in the world. Their removal and reconstruction were a historic event in the 19th century. Back to your cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9 - CRUISE CHECK OUT - FINAL DEPARTURE
