DAY 1 - WELCOME TO CAIRO

After the landing of your plane at Cairo International airport, you will find our tour representative waiting for you at the airport with a sign to help you with your procedures and luggage.  Then you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Free wifi available at your private car. In your way to the hotel, you will enjoy our welcome drink. Once you arrived the Hotel our tour representative will help you with the hotel check-in. You can relax at the hotel the rest of the day to be ready for the next day adventure at the pyramids.

DAY 2 - PYRAMIDS, MUSEUM, OLD CAIRO AND KHAN EL KHALILI

You will meet your qualified Egyptologist guide at the lobby of the hotel around 8:00 Am. Then we will take you by a private A/C vehicle to the Pyramids area to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Afterward, you’ll see the wonder of the Great Sphinx at the Giza Plateau. You will have free camel ride for 10 minutes around the pyramids area. You can enter one of the Pyramids with additional fees.You will also have a tour to the Valley Temple belonging to the Pyramids of Chephren.

 

Your tour guide will accompany you to a papyrus shop at the pyramids area then continue your day visiting the top important landmarks and Islamic sights in Cairo. Your first stop is the Egyptian Museum to see the largest remarkable collection of Egyptian antiquities and artifacts which are dating back to the Pre-Dynastic, Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. You will have a tour inside the treasure room of the child King Tut. The tour does not include the entry to Royal Mummies room. Continue driving to the area of Old Cairo to tour the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, Church of Abu Serga. At the end of the day, you will be guided to an old Arab souk, Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Free time for shopping. Back to your hotel in Cairo.

DAY 3 - CRUISE EMBARKATION - TOUR TO LUXOR AND KARNAK TEMPLES

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. We will take you from your hotel by a private air-conditioned car to Cairo APT to board your flight to Luxor. Once you arrived in Luxor, you will meet our assistant then transfer to your Nile cruise ship for check in. Take your lunch on board then meet your guide to start your tour at old capital of Egypt, Thebes. Cross the Nile with your Egyptologist tour guide to visit Karnak and Luxor Temples with your Egyptologist tour guide.

 

Karnak Temple is the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco-Roman Kingdom. You will see at Karnak Temple the Sphinx Avenue, the famous Hypostyle Hall, Queen Hatshepsut’s Obelisk and Temple of Amon.

 

Luxor Temple was built by Amenhotep III in 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and it was completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. You will see the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the first Pylon. Free time to take memorable photos then transfer to your cruise to enjoy the amazing sunset view on board. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 - VALLEY OF THE KINGS, HATSHEPSUT'S TEMPLE AND MEMNON COLOSSI

Take your breakfast on board then move by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the Valley of the Kings, where you will visit the tombs of the most famous pharaohs in Egypt (3 tombs included per ticket). King Tut’s tomb with extra supplement. Continue the tour by visiting the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Your knowledgeable guide will tell you the most famous stories about this temple and Queen Hatshepsut. In your way, you will stop to take some memorable photos for the Colossi of Memnon (King Amenhotep III Status). Back to your Nile cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 - EDFU & KOM OMBO TEMPLES

Sail to Edfu in the early morning. After breakfast, you will take a horse carriage ride with your guide to Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus which is considered the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak and one of the well-preserved cult temple in Egypt. At each site, your Egyptologist tour guide will give you historical information about the temple. Back to your cruise ship for lunch and relax on board while sailing to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility and creator of the world. The temple is located on a high hill overlooking the River Nile. Back with your guide to the cruise to enjoy your Dinner and continue sailing to Edfu. Back to your Nile cruise ship for dinner and overnight. Continue sailing to Aswan.

DAY 6 - PHILAE TEMPLE, HIGH DAM AND UNFINISHED OBELISK

Take your breakfast on board before starting your day tour at the High Dam of Aswan, the engineering miracle in the new centuries. Your guide will take you to the Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries of Aswan, where you will learn how the obelisks were carved in the ancient world. This obelisk abandoned due to a crack. No completed visit to Aswan without a tour to the temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Take a short motorboat ride to the temple, where you will listen to the grand myth of Isis and Osiris. Back to your cruise ship for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7 - CRUISE CHECK OUT - FLY TO CAIRO

Take your breakfast on board before check out (Maximum by 12:00 P.M.). Your assistant will wait for you at the lobby of your cruise ship. You will be transferred by a deluxe A/C Vehicle to Aswan APT to take your flight back to Cairo. Once you arrived at Cairo Airport you will meet your assistant who will take you to your hotel in Cairo. Hotel Check in and free time to relax or you can book an optional tour to visit Memphis, Sakkara, and Dahshur or visit Salah El Din Citadel including Lunch.

DAY 8 - FINAL DEPARTURE

Take the breakfast at your hotel in the morning before your check out (Maximum by 12:00 P.M.) Late check out available upon request with supplement. You will be transferred to Cairo International Airport to take your flight back home.
