1. How can I get an Egypt visa?
You must have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of your arrival in Egypt. Commonly, You can apply for a 3-months pre-entry tourist Egypt visa at any Egyptian embassy around the world even if you live outside your country, but you can get a 1-month entry visa upon arrival to Egypt if you are from North America, Western Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Brazil/Argentina or Hong Kong/Japan/Macau/Malaysia or Singapore.
2. Can I extend the visa after the expiration?
You can apply for the extension of your expired visa from Mogamma building in the Tahrir Complex in Cairo or to the equivalent governmental offices in the other cities in Egypt. There is a two-week grace period after your visa expires during which you may purchase an extension without being subject to a fine.
3. Should I get a re-entry Egypt visa if I coming back to Egypt after visiting another country?
When you leave Egypt your visa will be stamped at the airport and so you will require another one when you re-enter Egypt. If you are from North America, Western Europe, Australia/New Zealand, Brazil/Argentina or Hong Kong/Japan/Macau/Malaysia or Singapore, you can obtain the new one when you re-enter the country but if you require a pre-entry visa you should get the two visas from the Egyptian embassy or consulate around the world before your visit.
4. Can I visit other cities in Egypt with a Sinai visa?
The entry visa for Sinai enables you to go anywhere in the Sinai Peninsula; if you want to tour other cities in Egypt outside Sinai like Cairo, Luxor, and Hurghada, a new full tourist visa is required.
